Isle Royale National Park is located in Lake Superior, Michigan. It is composed of the main island (Royale) and 400+ smaller islands surrounding it. It's a less visited park due to difficulty of accessing it (by boat or plane) and it is the only national park to close entirely during the winter. It is home to many moose who like to graze in the shallow water.
